Medal of Honor and Kalpak Presented to Tamer Atalay at the World Karapapak Turks Congress

The World Karapapak Turks Congress held at the Istanbul Intercontinental Hotel was held with a large participation. In this special event where cultural values ​​and the business world came together, Tamer Atalay, Chairman of the Romania-Turkey Chamber of Commerce and Industry, was deemed worthy of an important honor. Dr. Seyfullah Türksoy, Chairman of the World Karapapak Turks, presented Atalay with a hat and a medal to show his respect and appreciation.

Atalay also takes part in the World Karapapak Turks Council High Advisory Board and contributes to important studies related to the Turkic world. Important messages were given at the congress to strengthen cultural unity and to bring the Karapapak Turks to a more effective position worldwide.

The dinner congress and cultural festival, attended by approximately 600 distinguished guests, was followed with great interest. The event was attended by important figures such as former Minister of Culture and Tourism Namık Kemal Zeybek, Istanbul Deputy Governor Dr. Hasan Hüseyin Ceylan, World Ahiska Turks Union President Ziyatdin Kassanov, European Turkish Islamic Union Founding President Musa Serdar Çelebi, as well as opinion leaders, bureaucrats, business people, commanders, diplomats, members of the judiciary and academics from eight different countries.

In addition to the cultural feast, projects that will strengthen the economic and social ties of the Turkish world were also discussed. The World Karapapak Turks Congress aims to increase solidarity between international Turkish communities and encourages the business world to take an active role.
